Today´s post takes in the entire province of Madrid. Madrid desde el Aire is a pretty neat Spanish TV documentary series. It´s a bird´s eye, themed view of the province as filmed from a helicopter. Episodes are about 20 minutes long, and originally aired in 2003. Now you kind of have to catch it by chance (it´s a filler show), or watch online.
While the series doesn´t go into much detail (you´re flying over each place by helicopter, not landing anywhere), and is sometimes dizzying, it´s a solid geographic introduction to the province and a great source for ideas for day trips.
