Shrove Tuesday Treat

Pancakes, of course!
And maple syrup, and sausages...

Tall Guy, in fact, has had nothing BUT pancakes all day long! There were fresh pancakes in the reception area of his building. How nice!

We made gluten-free pancakes from this recipe (with xylitol instead of sugar), and smothered them in syrup. If you can't get your hands on pure Canadian maple syrup, try smothering them in this homemade chocolate-hazlenut spread.
