The hills are alive...

...with the sound of GASPING!

Gasping at the prices of drinks here. A TINY glass of Fanta (200mL, not even the equiv. of half a little water bottle) costs anywhere from 2.50 to 4 euros! Drink up before you come to Austria or Germany, because you won´t want to buy anything while you´re here...

Other than drink prices and seeing a creepy slug that looked like a porcupine eat a worm - pictures soon - the trip is going well. Munich was cool. Actually, Munich was THE BEST because I bought PURPLE BIRKENSTOCKS in MY SIZE for LESS THAN $60. Horray!

Here is the slug-thingy.

This morning we visited two castles outside of Fussen (the last town on the "Romantic Road"...cheesy name, but it really is a lovely route), had some (more) schnitzl for lunch, and now we´re in Salzburg.

Here it is eating a worm.

Tall Guy is having fun with his new camera and tripod. It must really be a good camera, because some Japanese tourists said they had the same one. I should have time in the next couple of days to post some pics.

More soon, from Croatia...
