Sometimes it´s all about timing. And paying attention. I just happened to look up the other day, and I saw an eagle! He was made of stone, but still. Madrid is a great city for stone animal spotting. There is a whole zoo out there just waiting to be discovered, including a tiny stone squirrel. I think a fun travel game would be to make a list of animals and see who can find the most. It would definitely keep kids (and fussy adults!) walking longer!
